Is there a good home treatment for Irritable Bowel Syndrome?I suffer from IBS, and it is really starting to take it’s toll on my social and family life. It only really affects me when it’s time to leave the house (when my adrenaline levels are elevated), and it is making me miserable. I haven’t been out to eat with my hubby and kids in a couple years at least, because the “flare ups” make me miserable and shake and sweat and I can’t possibly eat. I don’t have health insurance, so a doctor’s prescription isn’t an option. Are there any supplements that I can take or “home remedies” that will help me? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I’m willing to try just about anything to get my life back!I’ve had this problem for most of my life, but it has gotten significantly worse since I had my gallbladder removed in December of ‘04. It is much more painfuul now (to the point I feel faint).

Hello Rosalie and thanks for visiting. I really try NOT to diet but simply change my eating pattern or style. Stabilized Organic Aloe Vera can help with some weight loss and also adds terrific nutrients as well as helps with many other physical ailments. I firmly believe that exercise and cutting back on portions helps immensely with weight loss…it doesn’t have to be much…just a minor change everyday. Even 15 minutes of walking or some other exercise along with cutting 1/3 of your portion down will help a lot. Good luck.

Hey, thanks for the great article. Honestly, about five months ago I started a new dieting regime, I’ve been on the chubby side my entire adult life and I’ve tried everything.
